Casa de Cortes in La Antigua
La Antigua is a town in Veracruz, famous for having some of the original colonial buildings on the American continent. In particles the so-called Casa de Cortés, which is presumed to have belonged to Hernán Cortés. Today it is a tourist destination covered with amate trees that decorate, together with the coral fossils used for its construction, the deteriorated walls of the property.
