Islet in Xochimilco

The chinampas are land formations created in the Xochimilco region in present-day Mexico City, to reclaim land from rivers and lakes. Very probably this islet is one of them, where a huge tree is reflected in the calm waters of what is now the Xochimilco Ecological Park. Photo: Esteban David Saavedra Del Rayo (Mexico, 2021)
